statistics for suicide
Everyday someone is bullied to the point to where they take their own life. In the U.S.A ALONE in 2009 there were 37,000 suicides, 1 million attempted suicides according to the Centers for Disease Control. Suicide was the 10th leading casue of death that year. Men take their lives nearly 4 times more than women do, so thats 79% of suicides just in the U.S.A. Between 20% and 50% of people who have commited suicide have tried in the past. In 2012 so far there have been 36,909

This web site was built for children, teens, and even adults who have been or are being bullied. My name is Kallie and when I was in High School I didn't get bullied but I watched people do it to others everyday. If it was talking about them behind their backs or making fun of them to their face but making it seems like they mean no harm. For all of you who are being bullied I want this to be a place where you feel safe. I want you to feel like you have someone to talk to that cares and will help you through anything. My goal is to help everyone who needs help and to hopefully bring down the rate of suicide.
